G’day!
I’m Nip, a chef, creator and storyteller based in Sydney, Australia.
My work sits at the intersection of food, culture and content. I create recipes, travel stories, brand campaigns and documentary-style food videos that explore the way food connects people to place, memory and identity.
Over the years, what started as a love for cooking has grown into a platform followed by over 700,000 people across social media. Today, I use that platform to share food stories from my own kitchen, from the road, and from the people and communities I meet along the way.
Whether it’s a recipe, a travel series, a brand collaboration or a live food experience, my goal is always the same: to make food feel exciting, human and full of story.
from peeling carrots to the King of Curry
My earliest memories in the kitchen go back to being five years old, peeling carrots next to my mum while she cooked.
That small beginning has somehow turned into a life built around food, cooking, creating, travelling and sharing stories with an audience of over 700,000 people across my platforms.
Along the way, the internet started calling me the King of Curry. I’ll take it.
For me, curry has never just been one dish or one cuisine. It’s comfort, culture, memory, technique, family, migration and creativity all in one pot. It’s where I started, and it’s still a big part of how I tell stories today.
